       THE EUROPEAN KYOKUSHIN KARATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

                   WEIGHT CATEGORIES (MEN AND WOMEN)

 

                     24th May 2008.  VITORIA  SPAIN

 

 

We would like to inform you that the preparations for the Championships are going well.

 

Forms:

Please, fill in and send us the following forms:

+ EKKO Entry Form,

+ Room Booking Order Form.

+ Ticket Booking Order Form.

+ Information concerning dates of arrival and departure (if you are in the official hotel).

+ Personal information Form for competitors.

 

Note:           14 th. of May is the deadline for competitors entries.

                    All entries must  be send to the General Secretary, and a copy to the organizers.

 

 

 

                   GENERAL SCHEDULE

                   Thursday

 Ekko Board arriving.

                  FRIDAY 23^rd of MAY.

Competitors arrive at

Official Registration for competitors

Only at Official hotel Lobby- from 2.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Official Medical Check-up and anti-doping control.

 You will need to bring:

1.     Passport of your country and EKKO passport.

2.     Medical Certificate ( in English).

3.     Personal information form.

4.     One passport photo (in gi)

5.     Your karate-gi

6.     Personal insurence.

You will have to sign:

1.     Waiver Form

2.     Anti-doping test Agreement.

You will receive:

1.     Zekken

2.     I.D.Card

3.     Championships Schedulle.

Deadline of Competitors´ Registration      9.00 p.m.

 

11,30 to 13,00 Official Reception at Vitoria Town Hall, only for C.Rep. and officials.

 

PLEASE: NOTE THAT ON FRIDAY EVENING  THE YEARLY GENERAL MEETING OF EKKO WILL TAKE PLACE.

 

THE REFEREES COURSE WILL ALSO ON   FRIDAY AFTERNOON.

Organizing Meeting and Drawing

Official hotel Lobby at  22,300 hours.

FEES

COST OF HOTEL ( Look prices at bulletin one)

Competitors fee:    25 euros

Referees course fees:

Refressing course free,  Corner Judge: 50 euros, Referees course. 75 euros.

All this amount will have to be paid in advance before competition or course takes place, to Ekko treasurer. C.Fischer.

 

Tickets:        Competitors and officials will receive special ID Cards.

·        Guest and spectators can purchase tickets for :  10 euros.

 

Insurence:

All competitors must be insured in their own countries.

 

MAIN JUDGE:

Shihan Antonio Pinero

Anthems:

Please bring with you a cassette or DVD with your national anthem.

 

Note:

·        Consider that Country Representatives may act as referees, it is necessary that you bring proper outfits and must participated in the judging course.

·        Remember that competitors will have an anti-doping test.

 

DEADLINE FOR HOTEL RESERVATION.  14. Of April 2008.

 

In case of no booking with us, nothing of the following will be include: (transport,sayonara, meals etc etc.),

The extended stay, room service, telephone, and other charges shall be covered by the participants themselves.

We  are looking forward to wecoming you soon in Spain.
